We were satisfied with taking Visa and Mastercard but the folks at American Express told us about their fraud protection. They explained how important that is especially to people who purchase important items like art on line. We couldn't help but agree.

If you purchase a print before May 1, 2006 using your American Express card we will send you a second print of equal or lesser value free. When you place your order simply reply to the confirmation email and tell us which print (specify the print number) you would like for free. It will be shipped with your order.

The 2 new prints are both chains. Not little chains but the giant chains seen around commercial boat docks. Instead of the usual boat dock art I chose to focus on the chains. The power and the strength of these huge chains.

As you can see as usual I reduced them down to a few basic lines. Lines that I feel express the strength of the subject.

Our prints are all produced to archival standards and with proper framing and display will be enjoyed more than 100 years from now. Our prints are produced only when they are ordered.

Trees in the winter in the north are barren of leaves, hibernating, seemingly absent of life yet they are not. Something that is not what it appears to be. This single branch is still and silent, waiting, just waiting ...

I don't often do or even try to do art that is thought provoking. I don't even care for art that has to be understood or explained. When I completed this new print the branch it didn't have the strong lines of my usual style. I kept looking at it asking what's the point? It isn't what it looks like and that became the reason that I completed this print.

Maybe I totally and completely missed any point at all and maybe the only thought I will provoke will be "so what". I guess that is for you to judge.
