DOUGLAS Art Prints Web Site Total ReDesign Delayed
September 1, 2007 - Cleveland, Ohio - On August 5, 2007 we announced our planned total redesign of our web site, DOUGLAS Art Prints Web Site Total ReDesign Coming. Our goal was to have this completed by today. This challenge was more than we expected.
The change to the use of streaming video became a much larger project than we originally anticipated. Our primary goal is to deliver more interactive animated content and streaming is the technology to do just that. We also recently discovered another technology we now wish to include that has added time to implement. It became a choice of getting some of the changes we have planned on line by today or delaying the new design until we can get the entire new site ready to go live. We decided to delay the launch.
The new schedule is to have this project completed by October 1. We do hope to have it up and running before then but this recent experience caused us to leave time for other unexpected delays.
