DOUGLAS Art Prints® New Contemporary Art Print - medina square

As anyone who owns my work, is familiar with my work or is familiar with this blog rural and farm subjects are one of my favorites.  I find the simplicity and tranquility of rural living to be great subjects.   Winters in Northeast Ohio by late February begin to become taxing.  Cabin fever begins to set in.  I was sent to Medina for one of my commercial photography assignments and this winter scene, with the fresh snow and the distinct lines of the lines of the sidewalks having freshly cleared with snow blowers just jumped out.  My choice of black and white is again because I like to inspire the imagination of the viewers.  In this print although it is from 2008 I think the black and white almost lends the work may be from an earlier time.   I am disappointed that the diagonal lines of the pen and ink style do not stand out sufficiently in the web samples but owners of this print will see it gives even more to the earlier period impression one gets from viewing it.
