Selling inexpensive prints that would discolor and deteriorate in time would likely deteriorate the value of the archival quality prints already invested in by our customers.  Selling inexpensive prints that would discolor and deteriorate in time would deteriorate our image and reputation of quality. We even researched surveying our customers and visitors to our web site about the importance and value to them of archival quality.  Would they be more likely to buy a less expansive print that was not archival quality?  We didn't even do that.  We decided that our image of quality was more important to us as well as our current customers who have invested in our prints that any added profit we might realize by selling inexpensive prints.

We instead decided add to the value of our prints and to again make our prints all limited editions with a limit of 300 prints.  Anyone who currently owns one of our prints now owns a limited edition.  Any new prints sold will be numbered consecutively from the last sale but now will be hand numbered as # of 300.

We have always stressed the value of archival and conservation quality prints and even frames (See: The Value of… Archival Art Print Quality and Art Frames - The Value of Archival/Consevation Quality).  For us to do anything to the contrary would be very poor judgement indeed.
